Welcome to Atlantis
No one is sure when Atlantis was founded. What they do know is that it has been around for what most believe and refer to as forever. There has never been a time in history that Atlantis wasn't part of the world, or as it truly is, part of every single world.
Atlantis is the birthplace of creativity, invention, stories, songs, ideas, and so on. It's always been a place of ideas and breaking norms. Atlantis influences each world creatively and is a muse working in the background, the life blood of creaitivity.
The true power of Atlantis is it is the only place in all the worlds that holds the secrets to the power of creativity. The ability to share it or destroy it for good.

The Island of Atlantis is roughly 13 miles long and 6 miles wide. The diverse ecosystems are startling from the vast, intense tropical jungle in the Southeast corner of the island, to the Lake in the center ranging from cold to the east and warm to the west. The main city sits nearly due north on the 2-mile harbor. To the west is a mountain range which has everything from cloud rainforests to tundra. The ecosystems change, evolve and often are not what they seem. Atlantis is an island of creativity and imagination and as such anything can change with the power of thought. It is unplottable, and while there is a vast ocean around it, you can't just 'sail away.' The only true way off the island is for targeted missions or if you decide to leave through the portal that brought you here.
A village recently appeared to the east of the city where placed from those who have been here a while suggested. It's filled with things like The Mystic Grill, Three Broomsticks and more.
Everything you could possibly need or want is somewhere on the island. Explore with caution if you go off the paths though, you never know what you'll find.

Atlantis city is 3 miles long and just over a mile wide. It could really be considered a town given the 'small' geographical area it covers. The city has this strange feeling that it is much bigger than it seems. The city center is where most brought will be staying, and the leaders of the Island are in the city center.
The city has an urban/beach feel to it. Most of the citizens of Atlantis are friendly, they are happy to have superficial conversations, but they'll typically find a way to walk away if the conversation gets too deep.
The most important buildings are the housing buildings, headquarters, and anything on Pine Street, which is the equivalent to a high street. The streets are surprisingly level given the geography. It looks as though it should be set on a hill but when you head up the 'hill,' you find you never are walking up hill.

Occassionally new places will pop up here, but it doesn't happen all that often or just because you want it to. When they do pop up, the street expands and it is just simply there.
CURRENTLY IN THE VILLAGE
The People of Atlantis look and act like normal regular humans. They are in general polite, courteous and diplomatic by nature. As a whole, they are not a violent race. They are a creative people, and it is not uncommon to see someone working on an art piece or on a new science project out in the open. They are excitable about new and interesting thing. They enjoy problems and creative problem-solving.
Admiral Poseidon - The current leader of Atlantis. He is a tall man standing at 6'7 and extremely fit. He looks and acts extremely militarily. Do not mistake that for a lack of creativity it was his idea to bring in those from different worlds to try and defeat the evil that is spreading and killing creativity, fiction, stories, and ideas. His speech is direct and much harsher than most in Atlantis, but he is good natured and will do whatever it takes to make sure creativity does not die.
governing body - The governing body of Atlantis is a mixture of those voted in and those from ancient lines to the start of Atlantis. There are 27 total members who write the laws and vote on them. Nearly nothing happens in Atlantis without them knowing.
4 months before the arrival of those from other worlds a dark cloud covered Atlantis bring hail, massive storms and a prophecy of disaster, death, destruction and lost hope. The prophecy was written in the sky for those who know what to look for. As the storm cleared three days later the first sign of true horror was relieved. Sidewalk chalk started to all turn gray and stories are forgotten by most of the worlds started to vanish, disappearing not just in print or illustrations but in the minds of the people, creativity started to struggle. That is when Admiral Poseidon came up with his plan. It took 4 months to implement the master plan to bring in help from other worlds. A portal was constructed and tested on a limited number before it became fully operational.
Brilliant. Scorned. Decisive and extremely dangerous. Captain Juliette Bottles and Captain Patrick Snow are behind the attack on creativity. The problem is, is as far as anyone knows they are very respected in the Atlantean Navy, both running their own ships. Very few even know that the two of them know each other. It was seven years ago when they watched creativity kill 406 of their fellow sailors on a mission that they dedicated their lives to something different, something that would take away the threat of creativity or ideas murdering people ever again. They are on the search for The Nine Tools of Creativity to use them to destroy creativity. At this time they only have one, and they can't figure out how to use it... yet.
the followers - It is nearly impossible to identify the followers or those who are part of the movement to destroy creativity. They only know each other by key phrases, only two have been discovered, and within 24 hours of discovering them, they were out of use. It is rumored there are followers in the governing body and suspicion runs deep.
The Nine Tools of Creativity are dangerous, one of a kind items that have the power to work towards destroying or enhancing creativity. The tools were scattered across the worlds to keep hidden and locked away. Hopefully, some even forgotten. In the wrong hands, they could truly kill creativity for good...
